May 11, 2024 is Wildfire Community Preparedness Day in Port Hope. This important day is dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding of wildfire protection, helping you learn effective ways to safeguard your property and community.
Join us for a community open house at Fire Station 3 (3585 Ganaraska Road) on Saturday, May 11 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Learn about wildfire protection and how to protect your property and community. This day will include:
- Station Tours: Get an inside look at the operations of our fire station.
- Touch-a-Truck: Experience firefighting equipment up close.
- Free Community BBQ: Enjoy delicious food with your neighbours.
- Inflatable Safety House: A fun and educational experience for our young residents.
