The Invitation to Tender is now live for Phase 2 of the Walton Street Reconstruction Project. This bid opportunity closes on September 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. All active construction work for Phase 2 of the project is planned to be completed in 2024.
This tender includes requirements for support to our local businesses and residents throughout the construction and planning process. One of these requirements includes a dedicated business continuity staff member who will be a key point of contact for information. The tender also includes the requirement of a pre-construction public information meeting. This meeting will occur prior to work commencing and will detail construction staging, traffic detours and work schedules. More information on the date of this meeting will be advertised broadly, closer to the meeting date.
Further communication will be released when the contract is awarded to the successful contractor.
