Victoria Street (from Ridout Street to Strachan Street) will be closed beginning August 12 for approximately two weeks. This closure is facilitated by Enbridge Gas as they upgrade a portion of the main gas line that runs under the road.
The work being done by Enbridge Gas is setting the stage for a future capital project in this area. This upcoming project will focus on improving the road infrastructure, ultimately benefiting the community with better transportation and connectivity
During this closure, local traffic will be able to access their property. Transit will be re-routed around the closure, but no stops will be impacted. Affected residents have been notified and will be contacted by Enbridge if/when their gas services are interrupted.
