The Municipality is gearing up for another round of public engagement for the Walton Street reconstruction project. From Thursday, September 9 to Wednesday, September 14, 2021, municipal staff and the project consultant will be conducting a traffic simulation on Walton Street at Ontario Street where they will simulate the removal of the turning lane and monitor the traffic flow data. This simulation will help staff and the consultants determine the impact on the traffic flow if the turning lanes are reduced to make way for bigger pedestrian areas along the Walton street.
