Residents are advised that a Special Meeting of Council will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at the Water Treatment Plant, 35 Marsh Street, for the purpose of educating and training Council as part of the ongoing 2022-2026 Council Orientation.
At the meeting, Council will proceed into a closed session, in accordance with the Municipal Act. Council Members will be given a high-level overview of responsibilities under the Statutory of Care – Safe Drinking Water Act. During the session, Members of Council will receive information of their oversight responsibilities under Section 19 of the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Please note: This meeting is not being held in Council Chambers and therefore the start of the meeting and the close of the meeting will not be recorded / livestreamed over YouTube per our usual practice.
