A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope.
At this meeting, Council will proceed into a closed session, in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O., c.25 for the purpose of litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the Municipality or local board (Section 239(2)(e)) and advice that is subject to solicitor/ client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (Section 239(2)(f)).
The purpose of the closed session is to receive legal advice with respect to OLT-23-000360 – 3852 Ganaraska Road.
