Public Information Centre for Victoria St S Reconstruction and Toronto Rd Watermain Replacement
The Municipality of Port Hope has engaged CIMA+ to complete the design for the road reconstruction and urbanization of Victoria Street South (from Trafalgar Street to Ridout Street) and the watermain replacement on Toronto Road (from Ridout Street to Fraser Street). These two individual projects will address important underground infrastructure improvements to aging watermains and sanitary sewers as well as the implementation of new storm sewers. The need to replace underground infrastructure, while challenging, will create opportunities for roadway reconstruction and streetscape improvements to be integrated into these two projects.
Construction is estimated to begin in 2024 (pending future budget approvals).
The purpose of this notice is to inform residents, business owners and other stakeholders that there is an upcoming Public Information Centre (PIC) for these projects.
