Earth Day is April 22 and we’re hosting a community event to mark the occasion! Join us for tree planting at either the Port Hope Community Hub or Sweetheart Park.
Date: Saturday, April 22, 2023 (Earth Day!)
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Locations: Choose between the Port Hope Community Hub (5325 County Rd 10) or Sweetheart Park (7 Spicer St.).
Registration is required so that we can ensure the materials are ready for you when you arrive. Staff will be in touch in advance of the event to confirm location and details via your preferred contact method.
What to bring:
Please remember to bring workwear gloves, a water bottle, and appropriate clothing and footwear for the forecast.

Mayors’ Keep the County Clean Challenge
Earth Day is also the final day to participate in Northumberland County’s Mayors’ Keep the County Clean Challenge. During the week of April 17, we invite the community to help us clean our public spaces (parks, roadside, beaches, etc.). Visit our website for details and to register.
