We are reviewing the parkland at Welcome Park (County Rd 10 and Dale Road) and Lions Park (Thomas Street). This work has been done in consultation with staff, working groups of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee, and through review of previous community engagement, and concept plans have been developed.
With efforts to maximize parks use, provide unique opportunities for the neighbourhoods, and allocate investments in parks and amenities, the concept plans are anticipated to be implemented in the near-, mid- and long-term future.
