Residents are advised that the Municipality of Port Hope is seeking public input regarding a potential new outdoor covered rink and sports pad. This project is being initiated as one of the priorities for the 2021 Leisure Services Master Plan and as a result of the low-level remediation work to be performed at the Caroline Street Rink.
Staff are reviewing options for refrigerated and non-refrigerated project considerations, along with multi-purpose sport options. The information gathered from this survey will assist in the review of potential locations for the new rink. It will also assist in determining community priorities and potential site amenities.
