Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting - 7933 County Road 65
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope hereby considers an application to amend Zoning By-law 20/2010, as amended, submitted by Clark Consulting Services on behalf of the owners, John and Shirley Yarema for a portion of the lands municipally known as 7933 County Road 65 within the Hamlet of Elizabethville in the Municipality of Port Hope (Subject Lands Map below) to be a Complete Application in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning Act. Furthermore, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope will hold a Public Meeting on December 6th, 2023 at 5:00PM, in person at the Town Hall, to consider the proposed application (File # ZB09-2023).
Staff note that the rezoning is being requested to satisfy a condition of provisional Consent with respect to File B04-2023 and B05-2023.
The subject lands are currently designated Hamlet in the Municipality of Port Hope Official Plan and zoned as Hamlet Residential One ‘RESV1’ by the Zoning By-law 20/2010, as amended.
The purpose of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the subject lands from Hamlet Residential One ‘RESV1’ to Environmental Protection ‘EP’ zone and Environmental Protection ‘EP-F’ overlay zone.
Additional information relating to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment (ZB09-2023) is available for review between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday at the Municipal Development Team Office located at 5 Mill Street South, Port Hope.
