Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting - 7290 County Road 10
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope hereby considers an application to amend Zoning By-law 20/2010, as amended, submitted by Stefan Szczerbak of Planscape Inc. on behalf of the owner 2264768 Ontario Limited for lands municipally known as 7290 County Road 10, in the Rural Area of the Municipality of Port Hope (see Subject Lands Map at the end of this notice) to be a Complete Application in accordance with Section 34 (10.7) of the Planning Act. Furthermore, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. via ZOOM video conference, to consider the proposed application (File # ZB01-2021).
Currently the subject lands are designated ‘Prime Agricultural’ in the Municipality of Port Hope Official Plan and zoned as Agriculture ‘A’ Zone by Zoning By-law 20/2010, as amended.
Purpose
The purpose of the Zoning By-law amendment is to satisfy a condition of provisional Consent with respect to File B01/21. The applicant to proposing to rezone the proposed severed lot (0.74ha) from Agricultural ‘A’ Zone to Rural Residential ‘RESR’ 131 ‘RESR(131)’ Zone to reflect the intended residential use, deficient setback of the existing garage and County Road setback. Additionally, the remaining agricultural portion of the subject lands (45.46ha) will be rezoned from Agricultural ‘A’ Zone to Agricultural Exception 1 ‘A(1)’ in order to prohibit construction of a dwelling. The northern portion of the property (see Map below) will not be rezoned.
Public Meeting
Members of the public will be able to participate in committee meetings through ZOOM video conference or via telephone. Those who have registered will be provided with meeting details. Please register by 4:30 p.m. Monday, March 1st, 2021.
