Join the Municipality of Port Hope at Town Hall on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. for a special Progressive Pride flag raising in celebration of Pride Month. We invite members of the media and the community to attend. The Mayor, along with Members of Council, staff, and the community will participate in the ceremony. Mayor Hankivsky will also share some brief remarks.
Throughout the month of June, the Progressive Pride Flag will proudly fly at Town Hall, symbolizing our commitment to celebrating diversity, and inclusion for all, support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and recognizing the continued struggle for equity and human rights.
Kindly be aware that both the flag raising and remarks will occur outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
