Her Honour the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will visit Port Hope, Ontario on Saturday, August 13, where she will attend the Port Hope Arts Festival to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Her Honour will also meet with His Worship Mayor Bob Sanderson, and tour the Municipal Hall. This will be Her Honour’s 93rd Official Visit.
Platinum Jubilee commemorative cookies and tree saplings will be available to the public free of charge courtesy of the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

09:30 – 10:00: Meeting with His Worship Mayor Bob Sanderson
10:15 – 10:20: Platinum Jubilee Flag Photo-op, Port Hope Town Hall (OPEN TO MEDIA)
10:30 – 10:45: Opening of Port Hope Arts Festival (OPEN TO MEDIA)
10:45 – 12:00: Tour of Port Hope Arts Festival exhibitors
14:00 – 14:45: Visit to the 29th Annual Antique Machinery Show
