The 2021 draft Leisure Services Master Plan is open for public review and comment.
The 2010 Municipal Leisure Services Master Plan (LSMP) has reached its 10-year lifespan and over 90% of the strategies and priorities are completed or ongoing as best practices.
In 2020, the Municipality initiated the development of a second-generation LSMP. The 2021 Plan is intended to guide decision-making by staff, Council, and partners through recommendations related to policies, service areas, and provision targets until 2030. Community surveys and stakeholder meetings were completed in 2020, as well as background research of trends and community need.
Members of the community, user groups, and stakeholders are encouraged to review the plan and provide their comments prior to final approval.
