The Inaugural Meeting of Council for the Municipality of Port Hope will take place on November 15, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (56 Queen St.). The event will also be live streamed on the Municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the media and the community are invited to attend in person or watch the proceedings online.
At the meeting, the Mayor and Councillors will take their Oath of Allegiance and Declaration of Office to officially commence the 2022 to 2026 Council Term. No Council business will be considered at the Inaugural Meeting. The regular Council and Committee of the Whole meeting schedule resumes December 6, 2022, and Council will continue to meet as usual on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
Please note that seating in the Council Chambers is limited, and will be at a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
