An update from Deputy Mayor Andrews as a result of the recent windstorm
Clean up and power restoration as a result of last weekend’s windstorm across much of Ontario is ongoing in our community and throughout the province.
We appreciate Hydro One’s continued efforts to restore power in parts of the rural area of the Municipality of Port Hope. Please note that Municipal staff assists Hydro One, as required, but does not manage hydro repairs and schedules. Depending on where power lines are located, Hydro One or the property owner is responsible for these activities. Residents must contact Hydro One first, with questions or concerns about power interruptions.
Jack Burger Sports Complex remains open during regular operating hours for use of the shower and restroom facilities.
Thank you for your patience while our partners work to restore full power to the area and our crews continue clean up of downed trees and branches.
