Residents are advised that Shaftesbury Murdoch XVI Inc. has received permission to film along John Street on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
Parking impacts
Following consultation with affected parties in the immediate area, the Municipality has approved the production company to reserve John Street parking on Thursday, June 30, and July 4 to 6. During these times, the affected parking spots will be occupied with set dressings and vehicles.
Road closure
On Tuesday, July 5, John Street (From Walton Street to Augusta Street) will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pedestrian and storefront access will not be affected during this road closure.
The production company is complying with the Municipality of Port Hope Film Permit process, which provides clear instructions on how to conduct a successful filming occurrence. The applicant will complete all required permits prior to the initial filming date.
