Filming Activities – July 2
Reaper’s Image Productions will be filming scenes for “Fairview” on July 2, 2024, in the area surrounding Town Hall. Film crews will be working between multiple locations in the surrounding area and at a private residence on Bruton Street. Both municipal staff and the production company are working diligently to complete the filming for this project, aiming to minimize disruptions to residents and businesses.
Bruton Street
- Road Closure: Bruton Street (from Bramley Street to Julia Street) will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on July 2.
- Lane closure: Bruton Street (from Julia Street to Pine Street North) will be reduced to one lane and traffic control will be in place.
- Affected residents in the area have been notified via a hand delivered letter.
Downtown/Town Hall
- Lane closure: Traffic will be reduced to one lane on Augusta Street (west of Pine Street) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Paid duty officers and traffic control personnel will assist motorists in navigating this lane.
- Intermittent traffic control: Crews will be periodically holding traffic (for an estimated 3 minutes) west of Town Hall (Augusta Street, Pine Street and John Street) throughout the day between 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Residents can expect minor traffic delays.
- Parking: Some street parking on Augusta Street and Pine Street will be reserved for filming from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Some parking spots on both sides of Town Hall will be temporarily reserved from 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. These spots will be released for public use as soon as possible. one parking lot at the Fish Cleaning Station will be reserved for tech parking on this day.
- Residents may also see smaller filming activities at various other locations surrounding downtown (south John Street, fish cleaning station, and the Benjamin Moore parking lot) on this day.
