You may have noticed that our Downtown is getting dressed again for filming! We have received an application for filming in the Downtown core and at two residential sites for the production “Greetings from Fairview”.
The Municipality must issue a permit for filming and the application is still going through the approval process so exact dates, times and locations of filming are not yet confirmed. Production is targeting July 19 to 21 as their filming dates, and residents and visitors can expect intermittent pedestrian and traffic stops, road closures and limited parking in the Downtown during these days if the application is approved. More details will be released as they become available in the coming days.
Please note that the Actors' Guild and Producers are currently in contract negotiations. This filming schedule is subject to change if an agreement between the two groups is not met by Wednesday, July 12.
Updates will be provided in this news article and our social media channels.
