Residents are reminded that the deadline to submit a nomination for the Civic Awards program is only one month away, on March 2, 2023.
The Civic Awards Ceremony is an annual event hosted by the Municipality to recognize people and community organizations and groups for their outstanding achievements and contributions in Port Hope.
If you know a local citizen or community organization or group who has contributed their time, talents, and resources towards improving the quality of life in the community, help us to acknowledge and thank them with a Civic Award.
There are nine Civic Awards categories: Outstanding Citizen, Outstanding Youth, Agriculture, Arts & Culture, Athletics, Community Service, Inspiration, Philanthropy, and Environment.
Information about the Civic Awards program, eligibility, and award category criteria, along with guidance and tips on how to fill out a great nomination form is available on the Civic Awards webpage. Nominations can be submitted online until March 2, 2023.
