Complete Application and Public Meeting - 1340 6th Line
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope hereby considers an application to amend Zoning By-law 20/2010, as amended, submitted by Clark Consulting Services, on behalf of the owner Andrea Kingsley for lands in Part of Lot 29, Concession 6, Part 4 of Plan 9R-773, municipally known as 1340 6th Line, to be a Complete Application in accordance with Section 34 (10.7) of the Planning Act. Furthermore, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope will hold a Public Meeting on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. to consider the proposed application (File # ZB02-2020). This meeting will be held virtually. Please contact Emily Schaefer for details.
The subject lands, municipally known as 1340 6th Line, are located on the west side of County Road 65 and north of the 6th Line within the Hamlet of Osaca, in the Rural Area of the Municipality of Port Hope.
THE PURPOSE of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the proposed severed lots (Parcel A and B) from Development ‘D’ Zone to Hamlet Residential One ‘RESV1’ Zone to reflect the existing residential use (single detached dwelling) on Parcel A and allow for a new single detached dwelling on Parcel B. The rezoning is being requested to satisfy a condition of Consent with respect to files #B03/19 and #B04-19, that will create two new residential lots. The remaining lands are not proposed to be rezoned at this time.
