Notice is provided to the electors of the Municipality of Port Hope that the following candidates have filed all necessary papers, declarations, and fees, and the Clerk/Returning Officer is satisfied that their nominations meet the requirements of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

2022 Municipal and School Board Elections
The upcoming municipal election to elect a Mayor, Municipal Councillors, and School Board Trustees takes place in October. Voting will be open between Friday, October 14 and Monday, October 24, 2022. In Port Hope, there are two ways to vote: Online or by telephone. Find out more at porthopevotes.ca
Are you on the Voters’ List?
Your first step as an eligible elector (‘voter’) is to confirm or add your voter information. This is done through the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation’s (MPAC) Preliminary List of Electors for municipal and school board elections. Visit voterlookup.ca to ensure your information is accurate and up to date. If you need to be added to the list, or if your contact information needs to be updated, contact us by email or visit the Office of the Municipal Clerk and 2022 Election Returning Officer, at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope during regular business hours. Proof of identification is required.
