Residents are reminded that municipal administrative buildings, recreation facilities, the Port Hope Public Library branches, and the Hope Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024 for the Canada Day holiday. All municipal staff services will resume at their usual operating hours on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
Transit Routes A and B will be running on Monday, July 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to support the activities happening downtown. As a reminder, these routes are also free during the Walton Street Reconstruction. Consider taking public transit when planning your trip downtown.

Residents are also reminded of the regulations for the sale and use of fireworks. Additionally, a reminder that burn permits are required, with specific conditions, in the Municipality, for any controlled burning.
