Residents are advised that free transit services will end on December 31. Starting January 2, regular user fees will apply once again. Thank you to all who utilized the free transit services during the Walton Street Reconstruction, your support and understanding during this period is appreciated.
Additionally, at the November 5, 2024 Council Meeting, a new initiative was approved to support student transportation in Port Hope. Now, students (ages 4 to 17) can ride transit for free during designated hours:
- Monday to Friday:
- Morning: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- Afternoon/Evening: 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Please note: A valid student pass will be required as proof of eligibility for free ridership during these hours.
