Notice of Complete Application and Public Meeting - 2 Highland Drive
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope hereby considers an application to amend Zoning By-law 20/2010, as amended, submitted by Bob Clark of Clark Consulting Services on behalf of the owner Lauri Wall for lands municipally known as 2 Highland Drive, in the Urban Area of the Municipality of Port Hope, to be a Complete Application in accordance with Section 34 (10.7) of the Planning Act. Furthermore, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. via ZOOM, to consider the proposed application (File # ZB02-2021).
The applicant has concurrently submitted a consent application (File No B03/2021) to create a new residential lot. The consent application will be heard by the Committee of Adjustment on April 22, 2021.
The purpose of the Zoning By-law amendment is to rezone the proposed severed lot from Low Density Residential One Type Two ‘RES1-2’ Zone with a Holding Provision (H2) to Low Density Residential Two Type One ‘RES2-1’ Zone in order to permit a future semi-detached dwelling. The Holding Provision, due to its close proximity to the waste disposal assessment area, will be addressed through the rezoning process.
Public meeting: Members of the public will be able to participate in committee meetings through ZOOM or via telephone.
