‘Inspiring Change,’ an evening in observance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Saturday, September 30, 2023, marks the third National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. In partnership with Northumberland County, the Municipality of Port Hope will be hosting ‘Inspiring Change,’ an evening of education and culture in observance of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre. Experience a free, live-guided virtual tour of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, with a focus on the Truth and Reconciliation exhibit.

Please be advised of the following road closures and Transit service impacts on September 20 and 21, 2023:
- Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Deblaquire Street North at College Street, to Ward Street, to Rose Glen Road South will be closed. Transit stop #B20 will not be in service and the bus will be re-routed around the closure.
