Port Hope Tourism Services Delivery Expanded

As part of the 2023 budget, Municipality of Port Hope Council committed additional funding in the amount of $125,000 towards Tourism initiatives including a new digital strategy for Tourism in Port Hope.

A winter storm is expected in our area overnight. Here are some snow clearing reminders ahead of the winter weather:
- There is no on-street parking permitted on snow routes from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. so that our snowplows can clear the streets safely. If possible, please avoid on-street parking during a snow event.
- Snow clearing of the sidewalk outside your home is your responsibility. Please do not shovel the snow onto the street as it creates a safety hazard and is also an Ontario Highway...

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for our region, expected Wednesday (February 22) afternoon into Thursday. It is likely that significant, rapidly accumulating snowfall and low visibility will occur, along with snow and ice pellets with a risk of freezing rain.
