A new specialized transit service has hit the road in Port Hope, with the expansion of the Municipality’s ROLLS program into the rural area of the community.
The Municipality’s specialized transit service, in partnership with Community Care Northumberland, now provides door-to-door transportation to registered, eligible patrons living in the Rural area with accessibility-related needs through an advanced appointment system.

Port Hope Receives Funding In Response to 2022 Severe Weather Events

The Municipality of Port Hope is pleased to share that we are the successful recipient of funding from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry in the amount of $40,000 for debris clean up and tree re-planting as a result of the significant weather-related events that impacted the Municipality in 2022.
