Special Council Meeting - August 23, 2023

A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope.
At the meeting, Council will proceed into a closed session, in accordance with the Municipal Act, to address a matter regarding a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the Municipality- Section 239(2)(c).

Port Hope to Host Peterborough Petes Preseason Exhibition Game Against the Oshawa Generals

Port Hope’s Jack Burger Sports Complex (JBSC) will host an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) exhibition game on September 4, 2023. The Peterborough Petes will be taking on long-time rival the Oshawa Generals.
This game will be hosted in partnership with the Town Park Recreation Centre (TPRC) Expansion Fundraising Committee and the Port Hope Panthers. Attendees can expect a 50/50 draw, Peterborough Petes jersey raffle, silent auction table, and more.
