Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for our region, expected late this week and into the holiday weekend. It is likely that heavy amounts of precipitation, flash freezing temperatures and high winds will occur.

Nominations are now open for the Municipality of Port Hope’s Civic Awards Program, an annual initiative that recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions to the community.

Walton Street Reconstruction - Timeline Update

Phase 1 of the Walton Street project is now complete for 2022. The final lift of asphalt and the correction of any deficiencies will be completed in 2023.
Phase 2 of the project, which includes full road reconstruction from Pine Street to Mill Street, is subject to budget approval and will be considered by Council as part of the 2023 budget deliberations.
