The Municipality Receives Funding to Improve Trail Lighting and Paving Along the Riverwalk

Trail enhancements including lighting and paving are in the works for the Port Hope Riverwalk with funding assistance from the Healthy Communities Initiative, a project which was approved in the 2022 Capital Budget and championed by the Waterfront and Riverwalk Working Group to create accessible connections along the Riverwalk.

Update: Rose Glen Road paving will now take place on Friday, November 4, 2022.
Residents are advised that the final layer of asphalt will be added to Rose Glen Road on Thursday, November 3, 2022. This is a full day project that will commence at 7:00 a.m. We are asking that, if possible, please avoid the area and use an alternative route. We are pleased to announce that the 25m pool is reopening at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, for lane, adult, public and family swims. The temperature will be slightly lower than normal and will continue to rise over the next several days.
