Nominations are now open for the Municipality of Port Hope’s Civic Awards Program, an annual initiative that recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions to the community.
The program is designed to highlight a variety of elements that make up Port Hope’s inspiring culture by acknowledging those who contribute time, talent, and resources towards improving the quality of life in the community.

Walton Street Reconstruction - Timeline Update

Phase 1 of the Walton Street project is now complete for 2022. The final lift of asphalt and the correction of any deficiencies will be completed in 2023.
Phase 2 of the project, which includes full road reconstruction from Pine Street to Mill Street, is subject to budget approval and will be considered by Council as part of the 2023 budget deliberations.

Following the Notice of Upcoming Work communicated by CNL on December 6, residents are reminded that the long-term closure of the West Beach parking lot and playground area begins Monday, December 19, 2022 (weather permitting). 2022 Municipal Holiday Hours

Administrative office holiday hours will take effect beginning on Friday, December 24, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at their regular office hours.
