On Monday, December 21, 2020, the Government of Ontario announced a Province-wide shutdown, beginning on Saturday, December 26, 2020 for a period of 28 days. As such, the following measures are being implemented by the Municipality.

Municipality Holiday Hours

Administrative staff holiday hours will take effect beginning on Thursday, December 24 at 12:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday, January 4, 2021 at their regular office hours.
During this time, municipal administrative offices remain closed and administrative staff services will not be available.
When staff services resume in the New Year, administrative buildings will remain closed to the public until further notice, as a result of the global pandemic. These buildings include:

At their final meeting of the year, Municipality of Port Hope Council approved the 2021 Operating and Capital budgets.
