Residents are advised that two of the Capital Roads Projects approved in the 2023 Budget, are beginning this month. Please be advised of the following impacts:

Port Hope to Host Peterborough Petes Preseason Exhibition Game Against the Oshawa Generals

Port Hope’s Jack Burger Sports Complex (JBSC) will host an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) exhibition game on September 4, 2023. The Peterborough Petes will be taking on long-time rival the Oshawa Generals.
This game will be hosted in partnership with the Town Park Recreation Centre (TPRC) Expansion Fundraising Committee and the Port Hope Panthers. Attendees can expect a 50/50 draw, Peterborough Petes jersey raffle, silent auction table, and more.

Arts Festival Road Closure - August 12

A reminder that the Port Hope Arts Festival is this Saturday, August 12, throughout Downtown. Residents are advised of the following impacts to accommodate this year’s festival.
Road Closures- Augusta Street (from Queen Street to Elias Street) will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accommodate the outdoor vendor market.
- Reminder: The parking lot at Town Hall will also be closed to accommodate the Port Hope Farmers Market.
