Special Council Meeting - January 26

Residents are advised that a Special Council Meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Council will move into a closed meeting, in accordance with the Municipal Act, regarding a matter pertaining to personal matters about identifiable individuals, including municipal or local board employees - Section 239 (2)(b) - (CAO / Organizational Performance Goals).
The meeting agenda is available on the Council Portal.

The 2021 draft Leisure Services Master Plan is open for public review and comment.
The 2010 Municipal Leisure Services Master Plan (LSMP) has reached its 10-year lifespan and over 90% of the strategies and priorities are completed or ongoing as best practices.

The Municipality of Port Hope is in the process of assuming ownership and operation of Knoxville Cemetery and has submitted By-laws to the Registrar of the Funeral, Burial, and Cremation Services Act 2002. Caroline Street Rink

The Caroline Street outdoor rink relies on mother nature to provide consistent cold weather in order to make ice. The rink does not have a refrigeration system. Our practice is to begin ice making when long range weather forecasts indicate daytime highs of minus eight degrees Celsius or colder for a period of five days or greater.
