Inaugural Council Meeting to take Place November 15 at Town Hall

The Inaugural Meeting of Council for the Municipality of Port Hope will take place on November 15, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall (56 Queen St.). The event will also be live streamed on the Municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the media and the community are invited to attend in person or watch the proceedings online.

Rose Glen Road Paving - November 4

Update: Rose Glen Road paving will now take place on Friday, November 4, 2022.
Residents are advised that the final layer of asphalt will be added to Rose Glen Road on Thursday, November 3, 2022. This is a full day project that will commence at 7:00 a.m. We are asking that, if possible, please avoid the area and use an alternative route. Join us at The Beamish House on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to bid farewell to Mayor (Bob) Sanderson after two terms as Mayor of the Municipality of Port Hope. Stop by to thank Mayor Bob for his dedicated years of service to our community.

Temporary cancellation of some swimming activities due to pool closure

We are pleased to announce that the 25m pool is reopening at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, for lane, adult, public and family swims. The temperature will be slightly lower than normal and will continue to rise over the next several days.
