Municipal administrative buildings will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2024 for the Victoria Day holiday. Services will resume on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at their usual operating hours.

Annual Roads Resurfacing Program Begins

Residents are advised that our annual roads resurfacing program begins this week. This annual capital project protects our road infrastructure and addresses any paving issues in both the urban and rural areas. Each municipal road is rated as good, fair, poor, or very poor based on the quality of the road surface. The road paving schedule is prioritized based on this rating system.

Notice of Demolition Work on Block 2 of the File Factory

Demolition work on Block 2 of the File Factory, located at 121 Cavan Street, has commenced. For public safety, the portion of Cavan Street adjacent to the property will remain closed while the work is ongoing.

This project aligns with Council's March 2024 decision to approve a heritage permit for the demolition of Block 2 of the File Factory, as this section of the building was found to be structurally unsafe.
