Special Council Meeting - May 2, 2023

Residents are advised that a Special Meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. as part of the 2022-2026 Council Orientation. Council members will receive training on elected officials’ role in local emergency management. They will also receive training on the municipal requirements of the Emergency Management Civil Protection Act and the five components of comprehensive emergency management (prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery).

Special Council Meeting – March 13, 2023

A Special Council Meeting will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. via Zoom as part of the ongoing 2022 to 2026 Council Orientation. Due to limited availability of the presenters, this session will be held virtually. 

At the meeting, Council Members will receive training on open versus closed meetings and access/privacy considerations for municipal officials. The session is open to the public and a video will be posted to YouTube following the meeting.

Council Approves 2023 Budget

At their regular Council meeting this evening, Municipality of Port Hope Council voted to approve the 2023 budget.
