Join us for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun for the whole family! Enjoy a variety of festive activities, games, crafts, and seasonal entertainment in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Come dressed in your favourite costume.
Saturday, October 24, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Town Park Recreation Centre
Come dressed in your costume (skating appropriate). Skating opportunity for all ages where participants can enjoy a leisurely skate around the ice surface. Children 9 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a caregiver aged 14 years or older. Ratio of 1 adult to 5 children under 9 years. CSA approved helmet is highly recommended. Sleds, strollers, and chairs are not permitted on the ice. Only approved skate aids are permitted

Halloween events for Youth. No Tricks. Just Fun.
Spread some Halloween cheer! Youth volunteers will carve and decorate pumpkins and create Halloween-themed care packages, including seasonal cards, treats, and activity kits, which are delivered to local long-term care homes, retirement residences, shelters, or families in need. This fun volunteer opportunity combines creativity, kindness, and community connection while helping brighten someone's day.

Join us for a spooktacular afternoon of Halloween fun for the whole family! Enjoy a variety of festive activities, games, crafts, and seasonal entertainment in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Come dressed in your favourite costume and celebrate the season with your community. Best of all, admission is free! Youth volunteers wanted to help us on the day: Set up and take down, overseeing the crafts, facepainting, overseeing games and activities, etc. Register online for this or one of our other seasonal volunteer opportunities. High school volunteer hours available.

Think you're the ultimate Halloween expert? Put your knowledge to the test at our Youth Halloween Trivia Night! Compete with friends through exciting rounds featuring horror movies, TV shows, gaming, cryptids, urban legends, and Halloween pop culture. Enjoy a fun evening of friendly competition, spooky vibes, and prizes as you battle for trivia bragging rights. Costumes are welcome. Register online – Only one person per team or pair must register. Participants may register as an individual, pair, or team. Teams may include up to 6 participants. Individuals and pairs will be grouped into teams at the start of the event. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
