Port Hope is a mix of urban area surrounded by farmland, rural hamlets and the beautiful Ganaraska Forest. Our vibrant community offers a wide variety of lifestyle choices, employment opportunities, leisure and educational pursuits.

Residential development is an active part of Port Hope's growth with new housing projects currently underway. Residential options also include Victorian mansions, condominiums, hobby farms and custom built homes.

Not only does Port Hope offer a transit system in the urban area, but out of area locations are easily accessible through VIA Rail and the six lane Hwy 401.
