TRAFFIC AND PARKING BY-LAW AMENDMENT 39/2008 (2)

The Port Hope Municipal Council will consider an amendment to the Traffic and Parking By-law No. 39/2008 at the Council meeting on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 to reduce the speed limit from 60km/hr to 50 km/hr at the following locations:

Gilmour Road, from northerly limit of County Road 9 to a point northerly 1 kilometre.

Knoxville Road, from the northerly limit of the 5th Line to a point northerly 1 kilometre.

Mill Street, from the southerly limit of County Road 9 to a point 805 metres south of County Road 9.

Perrytown Road, from the 7th Line north a distance of ½ kilometre.

4th Line westerly from County Road 28 for a distance of 1 kilometre.

7th Line from County Road 28 to a point 1 kilometre west of County Road 28.

7th Line from Mill Street on the south side easterly to County Road 10

A copy of the draft By-law is available on the Municipal website at porthope.ca, at Town Hall, located at 56 Queen Street and at the Development Team Office, located at 5 Mill Street South.

Written public comments are invited to be received until 4:30 p.m. on November 28, 2018 to publicworks@porthope.ca, or brought to the Development Team Office at 5 Mill Street S., for consideration by Council at their meeting on December 4.
