Toronto and Ridout Intersection Closure - October 8

Please be advised that the Toronto Road and Ridout Street intersection is currently closed as we address a watermain repair. Please avoid the area and use an alternate route.
Some customers may experience low water pressure, and localized water shut-offs may be necessary to complete repairs. Crews are on-site working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and the intersection will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

Thanksgiving Holiday Closures

A reminder to residents that municipal administrative buildings, the Hope Transfer Station, Transit Services, the Town Park Recreation Centre, the Jack Burger Sports Complex, and the Public Library branches will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
All municipal services will resume at their usual business hours on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
For urgent services related to water, wastewater, or roads, call 905-885-2431 and press * to reach our after-hours emergency line.

The annual tree trimming program is now underway in Port Hope. Regular pruning helps keep municipal trees healthy, encourages strong growth and removes dead, damaged, or diseased branches before they become a safety concern.
