We are proposing changes to our current parking regulation (Traffic and Parking By-law 39-2008) in response to ongoing operational challenges and community concerns related to on-street parking during winter conditions. Each winter, we receive many complaints, as snowplows often have to drive around parked vehicles during snow clearing operations. This often leads to:

An application to change the Official Plan and the Zoning By-law has been received for the vacant lands south of Croft Street, east of Wellington Street within the Urban Area of the Municipality of Port Hope. Residents are advised of the following impacts to services due to the upcoming Easter Holiday.
Administrative building closures:Municipal administrative buildings are closed on Friday, April 3 and Monday, April 6, 2026.
