NOTICE OF COMPLETE APPLICATION
AND PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING PROPOSED
ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT (ZB01-2017)


TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope hereby considers an application to amend Zoning By-law 20/2010, as amended, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, submitted by Mark and Sonia Hoover for a portion of lands located on Part of Lot 11, Concession 8, Roll No. 1423 223 050 15510 to be a Complete Application in accordance with Section 34 (10.7) of the Planning Act.  Furthermore, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Port Hope will hold a Public Meeting on Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, to consider the proposed application.

The subject lands are located to the west side of Gilmour Road and north of Ganaraska Road, in the Rural Area of the Municipality of Port Hope (see Subject Lands Map).

The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment would be to rezone the portion of the subject lands that is currently zoned Development ‘D’ Zone to Rural Exception No. 112 ‘RU(112)’ Zone to recognize the changes in the Official Plan designation and permit a single detached dwelling. 

Additional information and material about the proposed by-law will be available to the public for inspection between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, at the Municipal Development Team Office, 5 Mill Street South, Port Hope.
