Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services would like to urge all residents to be cautious when approached by anyone offering unsolicited “home fire safety checks” or attempting to sell fire safety equipment. It has been reported that some residents throughout the Province may have been coerced, pressured, or frightened by individuals posing as fire safety professionals. The Municipality is providing an update on the planning applications for a residential subdivision proposed to be located at 3852 Ganaraska Road.
