Residents are advised that Third Act Productions Inc. has made an application to the Municipality of Port Hope to film exterior scenes for a feature film produced by Warner Bros. and New Line Entertainment called “Largo,” on Walton St. between Queen St. and Mill St. on Monday, July 30, 2018, from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. and The Capitol Theatre on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In preparation of the filming on these two dates, there will be a small crew to prepare the locations in advance, beginning July 23 through to July 27. This work will include replacing the Canadian flags along Walton Street with American flags and changing the appearance of some storefronts. All businesses will be open as usual during the pre-production work, unless alternate arrangements have been made.
During the filming dates, the scenes involve mostly dialogue. There will be no special effects or gunfire in any of the scenes at the locations. Members of Port Hope Police Services will be on hand to perform intermittent traffic holds on Walton St., Queen St., Mill St., Ontario St. and John St. Additionally, Walton St. between Queen St. and Mill St. will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic on Monday, July 30, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Queen St. between Walton St. and Augusta St. on Tuesday, July 31 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All emergency access, as well as access to homes, businesses and driveways, will be maintained at all times, unless alternate arrangements have been made.

The production vehicles will begin to arrive on Saturday, July 28 in the former Canadian Tire lot. Vehicles for Brogden Lane and the identified streets will begin to arrive on Sunday, July 29.
All metered parking in Port Hope will be paid for by Third Act Productions Inc. during filming days in Port Hope and will be monitored so that any available parking will be free to all businesses, residents and customers.
