Special Council Meeting – June 2, 2026

A Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 56 Queen Street, Port Hope.

Minor Transit Changes to Accommodate the Victoria Street Reconstruction

With the upcoming closure of Victoria Street South (June 1, 2026) for reconstruction, Transit Services will implement minor route changes starting that day. These changes will remain in effect until the project is completed in the fall.

Sanitary Sewer Flushing

Residents are advised that vactor truck flushing and CCTV camera inspections of the sanitary sewer system will begin on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, and will occur until the end of June 2026. If you need a ride to/from East Beach this summer, we have you covered. Beginning Friday, May 15, we will again be offering a temporary stop at East Beach for the summer. This additional stop runs on Bus Route B and will stop approximately 55 minutes past every hour until Labour Day. Enjoy the beach!
