Temporary Transit Service Outage - Cobourg Shuttle

Update 12/5/25: The mechanical issue has been resolved and Cobourg service will resume Saturday, December 6 at 9:00 a.m.

The Cobourg Express Shuttle is currently out of service due to a mechanical issue. At this time, we do not have a timeline for when service will resume. In the meantime, the ROLLS van will provide temporary transportation, where possible. Final Decision for 3852 Ganaraska Road

The Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) has issued its Final Decision for the proposed residential subdivision at 3852 Ganaraska Road.

What has been approved

On September 3, 2025, the OLT issued an Interim Decision that:

• approved the Zoning By-law Amendment in part; and
• approved, in principle, a Draft Plan of Subdivision on an interim basis, withholding its Final Order until conditions of draft approval were finalized.

‘Toys for Tickets’ Program Launches December 1

We are pleased to announce the new ‘Toys for Tickets’ program, offering residents a chance to turn a parking ticket into holiday cheer. Parking tickets issued between December 1 and December 15 can be paid with a donation instead of cash. Acceptable donations include new, unwrapped children’s toys, non-perishable food items, clothing for infants and children, and gift certificates for teenagers.

Shaftesbury Murdoch XIX Inc. will be in town next week filming scenes for an upcoming episode of Murdoch Mysteries. Filming will take place in and around Farley Mowat Park with impacts on Walton Street, Queen Street and Mill Street.
