Below is a summary of key items discussed at the Municipality of Port Hope regular Council Meeting held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. The full agenda and staff reports are available on the Council Portal.

Brand Guidelines
Council has adopted the updated brand guidelines for the Municipality of Port Hope. The introduction of the new brand guideline document is intended to simplify the logo usage and assist in educating Municipal Staff, committees and community partners on proper logo placement and compliance with brand standards for Municipal advertisement and promotional materials.

Included in the brand guideline is the new Municipal submark, which was designed to give Municipality stakeholders more flexibility with respect to logo size for placement and visibility. The submark has also been designed to include a department identifier. A submark has been created for each Municipal department, to be used in department specific applications, including department apparel, vehicles, department-specific forms, etc.

Implementation of the logo and submark is effective immediately.

Minutes from this meeting will be available pending approval at the next Council meeting on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at which point they will become the official record of the meeting.
